The CDP is a global organization that works with companies, investors, and governments to measure and manage environmental impacts, including carbon emissions, water use, and deforestation. The CDP Climate Change Scores evaluate companies based on their level of disclosure and action on climate change-related issues. The scores are based on a comprehensive questionnaire that asks companies about their greenhouse gas emissions, climate-related risks and opportunities, and strategies for reducing their environmental impact. The CDP then assesses this information to provide companies with a score between A and D-, with A being the highest score and D- being the lowest. The scores also identify companies that are leaders in sustainability and environmental performance. The datasets are available in Excel spreadsheets for each year of the data.

The Indian census is the source of information on demography (population characteristics), economic activity, literacy and education, housing & household amenities, urbanization, fertility and mortality, scheduled castes and scheduled tribes, language, religion, migration, disability and many other socio-economic and demographic data of 1991, 2001 & 2011 census. It’s the source of primary data of village, town and ward level. It provides valuable information for planning and formulation policies for central and the state governments.

CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) is a not-for-profit joint venture between the world's leading academic publishers and research libraries whose mission is to build a sustainable, geographically distributed dark archive with which to ensure the long-term survival of Web-based scholarly publications for the benefit of the greater global research community.

Provides information and insights on the new capacities coming up in India in the near or medium-term future. The database will help financial markets look for funding opportunities, construction companies and capital goods providers for business opportunities, policymakers for possible new employment potential or infrastructure gaps, analysts for future industry structure and competition. Consumer Pyramidsdx is a distribution of the Consumer Pyramids Household Survey. It delivers anonymized record-level data for individual households and members of households. The service provides data from an all-India representative sample of over 170,000 households. This panel sample data has been surveyed several times over the years. The Consumer Pyramid Household Survey is an ongoing survey. Data is collected in waves; each year, three waves occur, and each wave is completed over four months. There are four types of data offered in Consumer Pyramiddx:
People of India: This data is released once every four months at the end of every Wave. It provides information on the members of the sample households.
Aspirational India: Aspirational India. This data is released once every four months at the end of every Wave. It provides information on the sample households.
Income Pyramids: This data is released once every month at the end of every month. It provides information on the sample households.
Consumption Pyramids: This data is released once every month at the end of every month. It provides information on the sample households.

First Source is a rich depository of several kinds of useful information on individual companies. There are five kinds of information available:

• Identification information including address, capital, date of incorporation, industry classification, etc.
• Names of Directors of the company along with DIN and date of appointment.
• Charges on assets.
• Annual Reports.

Financial statements for last 4 years providing information on all companies registered in India. It has information on over 1.9 million companies, 2.8 million signatories (directors), 1.1 million charges on assets, 0.5 million annual reports, etc.

Prowess dx is a delivery of the Prowess database that is specially designed for academia.

1. Quick and easy downloading of the data in simple text format.
2. 51,262 companies covered, including listed companies, unlisted public companies and private companies. All companies listed on the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange are covered.
3. Time-series data since 1990. Annual Reports of companies and data available from India's two largest stock exchanges are the principal sources of this database.
4. Includes the profit and loss statement, balance sheet and ratios based on these. There are 3,500 data fields in Prowess dx.
5. In the case of listed companies, cash flow statement, quarterly financial statements, share prices, corporate action and daily total returns are included. Financial statements based on consolidated and standalone basis are available.
6. Financial statements are standardized. The database does not suffer from any deliberate survival bias. The database is updated continuously.

States of India is a statistical compendium of the 37 states and union territories and 724 districts of India. The statistics covered here include a wide spectrum of economic and socio-economic indicators. State domestic product, inflation, banking, public finance, agriculture and industry are examples of the types of economic indicators covered. Energy and infrastructure indicators include data on electricity, coal, petroleum & gas, railways, roadways, ports, civil aviation and telecommunications. Socio-economic indicators such as demographics, household amenities, education, health, employment and crime are covered extensively. Time-series data is available for most indicators from 1990-91 onwards.

Compustat Executive Compensation data (ExecuComp) provides annual compensation data on the top five executive officers within the North American company from 1992 to 2009. It contains more than 38,000 executives and their compensation data on the top officers of over 3300 companies with more than 220 data items. The top 5 executive officers' data within the company is available from 1992 to 2009 and from 2010 onwards, the total number of executives' data has been available for all the 3300 companies.

• Executive compensation data, such as names of executives, titles, age, gender, compensation (salary, bonuses, stock options, and shares owned), most recently held title, when an executive became the CEO or left the position.
• Director compensation data, such as annual options received, annual shares received annual retainer, cash fees, stock awards, and pension compensation.

This database curates openly available content related to coronaviruses. It includes thousands of open-access articles from the world’s leading publishers as well as current research from pre-print repositories such as arXiv and will continue to grow and evolve as more is learned about the pandemic.
